"Music classes have really imprinted on K. She has learned so much through
music. I am convinced her current interest in dogs, cats, balls and teddy
bears all came from Music Together songs (Happy Dog, Silly Cat/ Roll that
Little Ball/ Dancing With Teddy). She even simulates a beating heart by
slapping her chest (from the peanut in Around the Kitchen). At bedtime, I
sing Su La Li to soothe her to sleep, and this usually very very active
child immediately relaxes, becomes docile, and lays her head on my shoulder.
At the best and the most trying times, S. and I put on a Music Together
CD to brighten her mood. Her face just lights up when she hears the first
chords, and she bounces on her little legs in time to the beat
(yes, she's walking now!). I kid you not, she asks for "her" music every day by
pointing to the CD rack and then toddling to the stereo!

So...thanks so much for running these music classes - we've gotten a LOT of
mileage out of them!"
